Client says: She paid Examiner $350 by PayPal. She wanted to have herself tested to show her husband she is telling the truth. Examiner said he "usually is gone fishing but occasionally does a polygraph". Test was done in an empty room. Chair back was bent at a nearly 45% angle, it hurt her neck. Examiner said she failed the test. Examiner would not show client or husband what the screen looked like. Suspicious that the computer didn't even work, they asked to see the program-- Examiner refused. Examiner refuses to issue a report.
APA member: YES
Recent past complaints: NO
Examiner gender: M
Followup: They went to another Wisconsin examiner, she passed the test.

Client warning: be wary of . . .
Client warning: be wary of any examiner who makes an appointment for you to be tested at 'his office', yet when you arrive it is either a motel or a rent-an-office-by-the-hour business. This usually reveals that an examiner is a part-timer without enough work per month to pay for a real office.
