Promoted as a tongue-in-cheek 'for entertainment only' situation, producers supplied their own antique polygraph instrument and its operator; Grogan just asked the questions.
A silly, fun time. Yet it increased public-awareness of polygraph and stimulated client calls to examiners during the weeks following the airing.
