Bicycle racer Floyd Landis now admits history of sport-drug use after failing drug test and then denying it for years; the connection to polygraph:

Not long ago, media personality Adam Corolla conducted a live-broadcast interview with Landis. Landis, still proclaiming his innocence after failing a publicized French drug test, strongly accepted Corolla's suggestion that he show America that he was telling the truth by taking a polygraph exam about such substance use.

Corolla then walked in an experienced polygraph examiner (John Grogan of Los Angeles) who had been selected for many other high-profile and celebrity matters both before and after this. Landis refused.

Since Landis had been using the drugs he was (then) denying, he would have failed the polygraph exam.
