All per client:
Client paid $400 cash to have his wife tested at examiner's home. Examiner does not have a website.
Client observed that the examiner, said to be nearly 80 years old, did NOT have modern equipment. Instead he had old antique analog equipment, 'like an open suitcase with a roll of paper'.
Examiner would not use client's requested questions, and made Client leave the room. Noisy construction was occurring outside the window where the test was being done, in examiner's backyard.
Client heard examiner telling client's wife how to pass the test.
Client was shown a chart of paper when the two charts were completed. He said examiner told him "This big spike is when I asked her Is Your Name ____?; the flat line is when I asked her about infidelity. Your wife passed".

Polygraph secret: the computer polygraph instrument doesn't know how much you paid
Polygraph secret: the computer polygraph instrument doesn't know how much you paid.
A polygraph can not be 'adjusted' for 'more accuracy'.
A polygraph test is the same accuracy regardless of cost.
If an examiner tells you to pay more for a test with him because it will be more accurate than an examiner charging less, that is a lie.

Potential client says he was searching Google, calling examiners for prices. He said one examiner chose to badmouth other examiners instead of focusing on what had to offer himself, and told caller that:
--"If an exam is done on a weekend, it is not valid"
--"If an exam costs less than $XXX (his own quoted price), it is not valid"
--"(Named competitor) is a con-man"
--"If an exam is done by a person who was never a cop, it is not valid"
--"If an exam is done by (named competitor) it is not valid because that examiner is 'dishonest' "
--"The polygraph groups/associations/networks that (named examiner) belongs to are crummy" (yet the badmouthing examiner himself is NOT a member of ANY polygraph entities at all, not even one!!!!)
Client and wife saw through that examiner's desperate comments, and chose to use a different examiner-- the one that he talked garbage about! And they were happy with the service.
NOTE: Professionals in any business would not 'talk trash' about others. Potential client would have hired that examiner had he not chose to suddenly burst out with the unprofessional comments. But, this same examiner has had similar complaints in the past.

Client says: He wanted himself tested to prove he was faithful. Examination was 'seven hours' of mostly 'interrogation'. Client says the interrogation must have came from (per Examiner) Examiner's several years of police work before being injured and retiring very early. Ultimately Examiner said he failed the polygraph portion, which was a small part of the seven hour process.

Why exam reports don't include 'raw data' or 'charts'
In the 70s, 80s and 90s, often a polygraph report to be used in court could include a tube of rolled up paper. It was a long chart paper of four wiggly lines with a lot of handwriting on it.
Modern-era polygraph testing is done using computerized equipment. No more ink and paper problems for examiners! The wiggly lines are instead viewed in colors as they move across a laptop screen.
The digital files involved are like movies in that they are harddrive memory-hogs. Many examiners discard them after reviewed for verbal results or for a written report. Regardless, these digital files can only be opened and viewed by persons who own the exact polygraph software used to do the original testing data capture, and there are four competing (and not at all interchangeable) polygraph software formats.
Typically, charts have no evidence value, as they are just wiggly lines with no provable indication of what was asked at that point in time, and there is no irrefutable proof as to when recorded or who was recorded. If 'the other side' doesn't believe an examiner's report, they won't believe charts either.
Also, some examiners guaranteeing privacy to their clients assure that all charts and notes involved in the testing are destroyed at the end of testing, and that no later discussion of the testing will be done without the examinee's permission.
