Clients telephoned an examiner Internet advertising in their area. Examiner said he had no office but offered them a mobile polygraph service to be done at their home for $350. An appointment was made.
Examiner did not show up for their scheduled appointment, nor did he respond to their attempts to contact him as they continued to wait for him. In contacting other examiners, it was learned that the examiner who did not show up was known for not having a computerized polygraph instrument anyhow.
Clients later had a test done at a professional polygraph office and their matter was resolved.
NOTE: the Federal polygraph academy advises that polygraph testing NOT be done at an examinee's residence.
